Energy Florida is working in support of the advanced cryogenic storage tank development and demonstration project funded by the Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy division and is leveraging Kennedy Space Center’s Cryogenic Test Laboratory personnel and resources to develop an innovative cryogenic storage tank solution for hydrogen fuel cell and liquefied natural gas vehicles. The project team is currently identifying and testing appropriate insulation materials for use in the first stage prototype fabrication and testing.
